We teach Alberta Education's Program of Studies and embed 1st Nation teachings within our curriculum

Daily Cree Language, frequent Land Based Teachings, Outdoor Teachings, and Elder Involvement

Fine Arts Academy:  A Time when Traditional Practices & Modern "Real World" Experience Unite!

Indigenous Art and Music (choral & Guitar)

The Fine Arts Academy offers a variety of Traditional Teachings through knowledge and skill.  KFN School supports traditional Drum Making, Drumming, Singing, Regalia, Pow Wow, Soapstone carving, Fish Scale painting, indigenous Art and more.

Sports Academy:  Three areas of focus to build strong hearts, healthy minds, and lifelong skills and knowledge.

Archery, Hockey and Weight Lifting Academies

KFN School Sports Academy has something for everyone.  The entire KFN School Staff are Nationally Certified Archery instructors and trained in Compound and Curved Bow protocols.  Students in Grades 4 through 12 participate in Provincial and National Competitions.  Our Hockey Academy will participate in the Alberta Hockey as an accredited school program.
